Avengers: Endgame is a great movie that should live on with audiences for a long time, its box office is incredibly high, over 2 billion dollars. What I will be doing for this review is specific individual character reviews are then of the movie itself.

Character Reviews:

Tony Stark/Iron Man: What is not to like about Tony Stark, he is a great and genius character, he is one of the best characters in all of the MCU and his legacy should live on long after he’s made his last appearance as Iron Man. His final line was incredible, “and I am, Iron Man”. Truth be told I cried after he died and I was not expecting him to die. Stark started out as a playboy jerk in Iron Man but in Avengers: Endgame he ended up as a hero who sacrificed himself for half of the universe. “I love you 3000”.

Steve Rogers/Captain America: Steve Rogers has been very selfless from the beginning and an all around great person. His ending is probably the most satisfying of all of the Avengers, he got his dance with Peggy! When he picked up Mjolnir, he had so much power and he had so much heart in that final battle scene. I am really happy with how he turned out and that he finally got his dance with Peggy Carter, “Avengers, Assemble”!

Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow: Black Widow’s death was really sad, she sacrificed herself for the Soul Stone. She is a great character that will live on, she is very selfless and a great leader. I am looking forward to the Black Widow movie, it should be pretty interesting to see how Marvel goes on about doing that. She was a pivotal character in Avengers: Endgame and her death shocked me, I hope that the Black Widow movie comes out soon.

Bruce Banner/Professor Hulk: It is interesting on how they did this character, he combined Bruce Banner with the Hulk, interesting move Marvel. Banner was also willing to sacrifice himself for half of the universe, he was alive but his arm got messed up, looking back, I really like what Marvel did combining Hulk and Banner. “Hulk Smash”!

Thor: Big Thor was a bold move by Marvel but in my opinion, it was the right call, he seemed very depressed 5 years after Thanos’s snap, but after Tony snapped Thor seemed happy and he may or may not have joined the Guardians of the Galaxy. I really hope that Marvel brings Thor back for future movies, I’m pretty sure that Marvel fans would love to see Thor back in any Marvel Movies. “Bring me Thanos”!!!

Clint Barton/Hawkeye: That scene at the start of the movie was very sad, poor Clint, he may not be the most powerful Avenger but he is a great leader. He tried to sacrifice himself for the Soul Stone but Black Widow would not let him, it was very sad to see Hawkeye killing people after Thanos’s snap but I am really glad that he got to see his family again and that he got a happy ending.

Nebula: It has been really interesting to see Nebula evolve from evil in Guardians of the Galaxy to a hero in Avengers: Endgame. Even though her past self almost screwed up the plan, her modern self played a large part in the plan to bring people back in Endgame.

Rocket: Rocket seemed very sad after his friends got snapped away and personally, I thought that he was a great character and was instrumental in getting the Reality Stone from Jane on Asgard, he was also a great coper with Thor when he was very sad.

James Rhodes/War Machine: Rhodes was an effective character in the movie it was funny when he knocked out Quill to get the Power Stone and it was also funny when he went up next to Ant-Man by scaring him and saying “what’s up, regular sized man?” Rhodes has been a great friend to Tony Stark and it was illustrated how good of friends Tony and Rhodes really are in the scene that Tony passed away, Rhodes is an awesome character and he is awesome as War Machine.

Scott Lang/Ant-Man: It was very interesting to see how Scott got out of the Quantum Realm, a rat, a rat! He had a very interesting explanation of being trapped in the Quantum Realm and the Avengers could not have saved the people who had been snapped away without Scott, it was sweet to see him reunite with his daughter, after 5 years of being apart, Scott was also a very funny character in the movie, Ant-Man was instrumental in the Avengers plan.

Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel: Captain Marvel was incredibly powerful in Endgame and saved Tony and Nebula, she also was a large peacekeeper throughout the movie on planets other than Earth. She was a big part of the last battle and the Avengers could definitely not have executed their plan without her. I thought that she was more powerful in Endgame than she was in Captain Marvel, she is the hero the Avengers needed, to save the day.

Overall Movie Review: Avengers: Endgame was my favorite Marvel movie of all time and I was so excited to see it in theatres. Marvel really captivated what life would be like if half of the population just disappeared, from people being depressed to lonely, to angry and then after they are brought back to grateful and joyful. The actors were also great, all of the Avengers (and others) had great emotion and acting, overall, my Dad was saying how many big-time actors there are in Endgame and now that I look at it, he is totally right, these actors are very popular and well-known. Marvel has built a massive film enterprise and has made superheroes the way that they are supposed to be. In Endgame all of the MCU movies come together and create an action packed, don’t get up to go to the bathroom during the film, audience gripping type of movie. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give this movie a 10, they captivated the MCU films into 1 movie, a lot of it through time travel and other creative ideas. Great job Marvel, this movie’s legacy should live on for years to come.
